The Manhyia Palace has denied reports that it has summoned Amanda Acquah, the wife of Black Stars midfielder Afriyie Acquah.
Reports had it that the ex wife of business man Kenpong had been summoned to the palace due to allegations made against the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Reports by Starr New has it that, the Manhyia Palace has described the allegation by Amanda in the seven minute audio as baseless. It however indicated that the charges will be looked into at a sitting which will be held today 15 January 2015.
Amanda has incurred the wrath of some chiefs in the Ashanti Region despite her explanation that the Otumfuo she mentioned in her audio is not the head of the Ashanti Kingdom.
