First Capital Plus premier league underway.

Accra Hearts of Oak and new entrants West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) will get the 2015/2016 First Capital Plus Premier League underway on Saturday, January 17, at the Kpando Park.

Hearts who are playing home away from home following disciplinary sanctions, are highly favoured to give the debutants a real baptism of fire and eventually carry the day.

Real action is however expected at Dormaa where Kumasi Asante Kotoko will set about the defence of the league title with a difficult game against cagey customers Aduana Stars on Sunday.

Day one of the league also sees Accra Great Olympics’ return to premiership football served a tough test at the Len Clay stadium where they play impressive Ashantigold SC.

B.A. United, also returning to the premiership after a long wandering in the wilderness, engage ‘neighbours’ Bechem United at the Coronation Park in a derby expected to yield interesting results.

In other matches Heart of Lions will host New Edubiase at Kpando; Hasaacas and Liberty Professionals lock horns in Sekondi: Inter Allies welcome Medeama to Tema while Wa All Stars vs Chelsea of Berekum sort themselves out at Wa.
